man oh man…..thats how i start my blog…lol…..i seem to be writting my blog lesser this time..but it seems that there is alot in my mind…..i guess ill just have to get my momentum going again..
the last few months have been awesome.. the month of march was the most awesome period month….we had like four great teachers in one month drilling us on all aspects from popping, wacking, house, hip hop n locking…..first was AUS gstyle (aka aus ninja)..he came here for ten days teaching our girls wackin n voguin…aus happen to be direct student of tyrone procter who is one of the pionners of waackin..he is also a member of the G style popping crew….we had a groove session battle jam where aus judged and i happened to win the poppin side ….jerry took the house n hip hop category while silvya surprisingly won the waackin side….the funky jibon usher took the lockin side…the groovesession was our fourth volume and it proved to be a blast with aus around who demoed sick poppin and also world class waackin..
immediately after aus was kumari from LA…..she was here a good 8 days specifically to train the UG angels on waackin as well…..the girls grew tremendously after the training session with aus n kumari….i am proud of them..they can now stand on their own and grow by themselves from there…kumari was also kind enough to share alot to us on hip hop and house….it was very beneficial to everyone….i sooo enjoyed the house cypher with her…
at the same time kumari was here, me, machi, usher n sidney went to singapore for the Lockdown (lockin) battle….my highly respected frined n mentor form taiwan AGA was there as the judge….me n machi made it to the top 16 but i lost my first battle while machi made it to top 4……it was such a good experience though….Aga came to Kl a few days later and gave us all a good class on Locking..he came with his fellow team mate Boui who also conducted a class with aga…..
we learnt so much that month……thank god for all those knowledge that has made us dance bit more better…
